v1.3.0 - Content Update

Hello!

If you are keeping up with Reanimated Heart's socials, I dropped a content update last month exclusively on Patreon because there were many things that weren't finished yet. Now, we've gone through MOST of them, and I'm personally very pleased to be releasing this new update to the public.

The big ones... There will be new content (three in-game days), a big journal overhaul, and a lot of special effects, now that I've learned more about Ren'Py animations! You can now go back and see characters in different lighting and have rooms darken when appropriate. Everyone also took their vaccines, so their sprites are no longer socially distanced, LMAO.

So, what's in the update?

- 3 in-game days -- a free roam day, a plot day, and a romance scene.

- 3 big custom CGs of all the romantic interests, with one of them featuring your customizable main character. There are also multiple new smaller CGs, including two featuring the LIs.

- The ability to gift the Love Interests an item during the Free Roam day, including with a custom menu!

- The debut of Vincenzo's female form, including a CG with new sprites.

- Very detailed journal entries written by Mell, going through the MC's thoughts and feelings. This is available until the first job day (missing the delivery route).

- A pretty significant Black redesign. His neck tattoo has been changed. And to everyone who wants the "HATE" tattoo back... it's now been moved to a more desirable location. ;)

- NEW MC customization options, which includes a new "default" hair color (light blonde), a green variant of the plaid shirt, and a sweater option with 2 colors.

- 3 new big "backgrounds" (1 variation), 3 smaller ones

- 3 new halfbody sprites (new characters), 2 icon characters, 2 monsters.

- 6 new inventory items.

- Added a new conversation for Crux's Free Roam Day 1.

- New Free Roam Screen! It showcases the map of Evergreen Hollow.

- New Game Over screen.

- A new blinking heart click to continue icon on the dialogue box.

- New effects: A new bloody border effect, noise effect, eldritch border. Some buttons now have sound effects too.

- Fixed some notable bugs: Asha's journal entry, the repeating line in the Abel encounter, and a bug where Crux's note picture would show on the bottom left screen. (Also fixed some bugs from the content update.)

- Some quality of life adjustments: Lowered the volume of Grete and Asha's theme songs, fixed some clipping on Carolyn's bg, some pixel issues in the Kitchen bg, smoother transitioning in some scenes.

- Added a few more voice acting lines for Crux and Vincenzo

What hasn't been implemented?

- We wanted to implement a new Character Customization screen where you can alter character genitals and gender presentation. Unfortunately, we realized our creator ran on old code, and we would have to redo them from the start. I didn't want to delay it further, so I plan on adding it next update.

- The ability to give more than one gift every visit.

- During Free Roam, I wanted the ability to be able to go to the NPC store and purchase new items. We are struggling to figure out how to implement this smoothly.

- Animations with the Crux car CG and the Vin ring CG.
